- Teen Parent Services serves young parents (under 20) who have not received a diploma or GED. This program offers support, helps with school enrollment and helps the teen overcome problems that may keep her/him from successfully completing school. The Teen Parent Services Program offers a case management approach. Teen Parent Services will, for example, help with school expenses, employment expenses and be an advocate for the teen. Teen Parent Services is a “one-stop” program that will make all the appropriate referrals. Teen Parent Services will also give lots of relevant information to the teen.
Adult Education and Family Literacy Program of the Quincy Public Schools offers either high school or GED instruction to students who are 16 and over and have separated from their high school. The school is teen parent friendly offering on-site childcare, bus transportation in district, and lots of parenting instruction. Older students may choose to earn a diploma for the year in which they should have graduated. Six caring staff teach the classes. Classes are generally small. School hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

- Transitions is a not-for-profit agency that primarily serves Adams County residents. The agency serves people who have a serious mental illness, people who have a developmental disability, and people who have no mental disability, but who are struggling with life problems that can affect anyone. Services include outpatient mental health services for people of all ages, vocational rehabilitation and training services, life skills training services, case management services, developmental services for children ages birth to three, and crisis intervention services. The agency also provides supervised housing (group homes) and supported housing (supported apartments) for adults who have a serious mental illness or a developmental disability.
